The Sleep Shirt is a Canadian company that makes attractive and comfortable sleepwear.

Based in Vancouver and designed in Canada and Sweden, The Sleep Shirt is best known for its classic, contemporary nightwear made locally and ethically from high quality cottons and linens.

Founded in 2012 by Alexandra Suhner Isenberg, a Canadian living in Sweden, The Sleep Shirt is run by women and made for those who don’t want to sacrifice style for comfort.

Their Classic nightshirt was originally made for the bedroom, but can be worn at home, out and about, on the beach and even for work.

Everything is designed for both comfort and style: their machine washable products last up to 700 wears, they offer an extended size range (up to 3XL), many modest shapes, and in addition to nightshirts and pyjamas, also create daywear, loungewear, beachwear and more. They also ensure the collections pass the ‘real life situation’ test – sleepwear that you can wear over breakfast with your in-laws, that you aren’t shy to be seen in when you’ve got house guests, and that you can wear while answering the door to room service.

Their lightweight cotton and linen styles double as luxury beach kaftans and summer dresses. Long sleeved linen shirt dresses and delicate Italian cotton cover-ups make up the perfect resort wardrobe.
